Christmas Day Tablescape

IMG_1008

We did a Cranberry Christmas tablescape at my mom’s this year with white/silver accents!  I loved the elegant look that evolved!

IMG_1007The cranberries tied in the red with the white/silver table setting.  We used my grandmother’s silver to add an elegant touch.

We had a lovely turkey dinner complete with stuffing, green beans almondine, and of course, cranberry sauce!

Christmas

Oh, Christmas Tree!

IMG_4459

Our tablescape this week pays homage to the Christmas tree and the old fashioned Christmas Eve service at church.

Our table setting brings burgundy and gold together.  I love the appetizer cups just waiting for some “Cranberry Shrub.”  Those of you from an older era will remember that appetizer!

The trees are actually decorated with wine charms which were the perfect size for this little tree!

I love this little church which reminds me of the Episcopal church my dad grew up in. These scenes were created using the figures and church that my Aunt Barbara always had at her house.  They were passed on to me and I loved being able to use them in my house!

Red Truck Christmas

IMG_4404

Red Truck Christmas Tablescape – this reminds me of going over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house.

IMG_4405

These Christmas glasses have been in our family for years and I love sharing them with guests at this time of year!

IMG_4406

Love this scene and can’t wait to have guests over tonight to share it with!

Ornament Vase

Added these ornament vases to the corner of the display to give a little pine tree touch!

Winter

Snowman Tablescape

Snowman 1

This whimsical Snowman tablescape gives us a fun start to our winter decor.

Snowman 2

The large snowman anchors our center with the mini-snowman all around.  The snowballs add a whimsical touch with their cute faces!

Snowman 3

The candle holders and 3 little snowmen were found at a craft show and the snowballs with cute faces were a gift from a family member.  The snowmen on the sides were found at garage sales, and the sleds were from Hobby Lobby.  All in all, this is a cute tablescape to launch our winter tablescapes!
