Plaid

Apples and Black Plaid

September has begun and the black plaid and apples of this tablescape give us an introduction to the fall season. The glasses have a mini-chalkboard on them for writing names or phrases. I love plaid and adding to it with the touches of red from the apples really made this tablescape one of my favorites!  Enjoy and share if you like!

Harvest

Summer Tablescape – Harvest

August reminds me of gathering vegetables out of our backyard garden, and this harvest tablescape pays homage it.

Sunflowers

Summer Tablescape – Sunflowers

Sunflower tablescape 3Sunflower Tablescape 2

Sunflowers are abundant this August!  So, I decided to do a sunflower tablescape! The yellow and browns reflect the sunflower colors and the touch of white brightens up the scene.  Two quick tips: if you are stuck for cloth napkins on your tablescape, Fat Quarters from the quilting aisle make beautiful cloth napkins – And are inexpensive to boot! So, in a pinch, check out your local fabric store!  Also, the filler in the sunflower vase is coffee beans!  It fits the brown of the sunflower and adds a nice aroma!

As always, feel free to send your tablescape ideas and we can share them in a post!
