Centerpiece – remembering the empty cross and reason for the season.
Pinks, Greens and Yellows represent the coming Springtime that happens after Easter. (Only 5 of us this year so we left the end for dishes and dessert.
Place setting with beautiful green stemware and pink flower napkin holders and flowered name tags.
These beautiful napkins and holders were just the bright touch the plates needed.
This Valentine’s tablescape was a combination of old and new. It has my mother’s water glasses, my grandmother’s dishes, and some antique Ruby dessert cups!
Table setting
This table setting is a combination of old and new. The charger came from Hobby Lobby, the plates were my grandmother’s that she bought from Strawbridge and Clothier (those of you who are from the Philadelphia area will remember that store.) The Ruby dessert cups I picked up at a local antique store. The candy bowls are made from peppermints melted into bowls for a touch of whimsy, and have red M & M’s in them.
View of the opposite end of the table
This view of the table from the other end shows a clearer view of the candy dishes with M&M’s. The napkin rings are actually shower curtain rings upcycled to napkin rings! The taper candles have a little sheen to them which add an elegance to the table.
Bird’s eye view of the table
This view of the table shows the combinations of red and white which celebrate Valentine’s Day colors and themes!
Fall is early this year with crisp mornings and warm afternoons. This change in weather prompted me to do an early Fall Tablescape. There will be more to come! I love the warm colors of fall and the bright leaves on the trees. Enjoy this tablescape to start off your Fall decor!
A view from above
This view from above is a perfect meld of all the fall colors thanks to the beautiful zinnias from our local farmer’s market.
Embroidered Leaf Napkins
The place setting has an embroidered napkin (I got a set of 4 at a garage sale – great find!) that continues the fall leaf theme, and fits beautifully with the salad plate fall leaves tree.
Leaf imprinted water goblets
These water goblets were a great find at the Dollar store. They fit perfectly with the theme of the table.
Leaves, birch candles and pumpkins add to the centerpiece collage
The centerpiece is the focus of the tablescape with it’s fall leaves encircling the the beautiful bouquet of zinnias! The pumpkins and birch candles add a nice touch to the display.
This lovely tablescape with pinks and greens is perfect for an afternoon luncheon! I love the napkin ring holders of green hydrangea. Although the greens in the display aren’t an exact match, they compliment each other well enough to make it work. The splashes of pink and other summer colors help round out the design to make for an inviting tablescape.
